Wind Mountain (Har HaRuach)

Wind Mountain (774m) is an extension of the Jerusalem mountains which slopes westward between Abu Ghosh and the village of Nataf. In the 1980s, KKL-JNF began to develop the mountain and its roads. KKL-JNF installed recreational picnic areas and built scenic lookouts along the road.

Access to the forest: Enter Abu Ghosh and drive towards Ma'ale HaHamisha (Route 425). At the northern exit of the village, near the Saxum Visitor Center, follow the signs to Nataf. Drive for about 900 m and turn left, following the signs to Wind Mountain.

Entrance to the forest from the access road to Nataf.

Hadassah and Baruch Levin Recreation Area – the main recreation area on Wind Mountain. At the edge of the site is a lovely scenic lookout with illustrative panoramic panels.
