• KKL-JNF Housing Program Launches in Nahariya: Five Families Receive Keys to New Homes

  Five families from the Hashomer Hatzair Alumni Movement received the keys this week to apartments in Nahariya, which they will rent long-term at reduced rates below market prices. The families are the first to move into homes as part of a new housing initiative launched KKL-JNF in partnership with Mekom, the Council of Community and Mission-Based Groups.

  Approximately 1,200 Maccabiah participants from Jewish communities around the world celebrated their Bar and Bat Mitzvah ceremonies at the Western Wall as part of a special event held today (Monday) by KKL-JNF, the Maccabiah, and the Western Wall Heritage Foundation. For many of the participants, their arrival in Israel as part of the Maccabiah marked their first visit to the country.
