For the first time in many years, KKL-JNF renewed an old tradition. On Wednesday, a large tree-planting celebration was held in Jerusalem, Israel's capital, attended by Mayor Moshe Leon. KKL-JNF Chair Ifat Ovadia-Luski and the mayor planted trees along with 250 local and evacuated schoolchildren at the Asbstonim Park in the Kiryat Yovel neighborhood in the city.
