Ibim Recreation Area in Erez Forest

The Ibim recreation area is a spacious site with many picnic tables spread over a wide area. The recreation area excels in its variety of tree species, including Jerusalem pine, river red gum and other species of eucalyptus trees, acacias, the Christ's thorn jujube, carob trees and cultivated olive and mulberry trees. In the recreation area, KKL-JNF built a playground and an open-air theater. Paved trails lead to round concourses where there are wheelchair-accessible tables.

Directions: From the entrance to the Ibim student village, Route 232, between Km markers 59 and 60, about a km north of the entrance to Sderot.
