Ben Gurion Park in Dimona

Ben Gurion Park is located on the outskirts of the town of Dimona. Its main section covers about 370 dunams in a strip about 1.7 km long in the northern part of Dimona. KKL-JNF planted olive trees in Dimona in the early 1950s. A real forest, perhaps the first desert forest of KKL-JNF, was planted here in the 1960s to provide the residents of Dimona with a green environment. KKL-JNF added recreation areas and bicycle paths in the forest, children's playgrounds, a spectacular lake and a science garden.

Directions: Turn towards Dimona from Route 25 and drive on Herzl Boulevard. At the fourth traffic circle, turn left and drive on Golda Meir Boulevard to the park.
