Location: Nahal Shikma scenic road.
Description: Tel Nagila rises above the channel of Nahal Shikma which runs deep here until it reaches the groundwater, as the reeds filling the river testify. In the past this water supplied the residents of the villages. There is a wonderful view of the surroundings from the top of the hill and in summer the harvested fields around it appear golden as the sun sets.
Directions: Drive on the Kiryat Gat–Kama Junction road (Route 40) and turn west next to Km 215, according to the signs for Pura Nature Reserve (turning is permitted only when coming from the north!). Nahal Shikma scenic road, passable for any car, begins in the large square. Pass Pura Nature Reserve and afterwards pass the remains of the Turkish railroad bridge and after 6 km arrive at the foot of Tel Nagila.
