Location: Springs Park (Park HaMa’ayanot) in Emek HaMa’ayanot (Beit Shean)
Description: Tel Sokha rises to the south of Nahal HaKibbutzim, overlooking Springs Park (Park HaMa’ayanot), Mount Gilboa and the Gilead Mountains. A three-story concrete tower at the summit was built in 1939 as a post to defend Kibbutz Nir David, after three kibbutz members were ambushed and murdered nearby.
Directions: At the traffic circle before the entrance to Gan HaShlosha (Sakhne) National Park, bypass Gan HaShlosha on the road parallel to the national park’s fence and quickly reach the parking lot.
