Kinneret Mandel Scenic Lookout (Mitzpe Kinneret Mandel)
Location: Mevo Hama Forest.

Description: KKL-JNF has erected four picnic tables in the attractive camping site, one of them wheelchair-accessible. Next to the information plaque showing the sites visible from it, an audio guide tells the story of the area and of the late Kinneret Mandel. The observation point is disabled-accessible and spectacular. Below us are the Sea of Galilee and the Jordan Valley (Emek HaYarden) – Tzemah, Beit Zera and Afikim. From here, Kibbutz Tel Katzir, a permanent target for the Taufik outpost, seems as if you could hold it in your hand. Kinneret Mandel (1982–2005) was born and grew up in Carmel in the South Hebron Hills. She was killed in a terror attack at Gush Etzion junction in which her cousin Matat Rosenfeld and Oz Ben Meir were also killed.

Directions: 5 km south of Kibbutz Mevo Hama (Route 98, near Km marker 12).
