In the second half of 2017, an extensive renovation project for the Ghetto Fighters' House Museum Amphitheatre started. The project was mostly aimed at solving the problem of the asbestos seats in the site, which prevented it from being used for events due to environmental laws.
Works included making the Amphitheatre accessible by paving an accessible road, building a new stage and covering about 8,000 asbestos seats. The complex covering process was done in coordination with The Ministry of Environmental Protection, The Mate Asher Regional Council and the management of the Ghetto Fighters' House Museum.
