KKL-JNF invites you to volunteer and help it develop and care for the mountainous, Biblical, agricultural site in the Sataf, located in the Jerusalem mountains.
This job requires volunteers in two main areas: Taking care of the agricultural terraces, and guiding tours.
With the help of students, soldiers and adults, KKL-JNF is restoring the system of terraces at the Sataf site, its springs, collection pools and irrigation channels. Here we meet face to face with such concepts as "a sealed spring," "irrigation farming," "dryland farming," and "shomera" - a vineyard watchtower. KKL-JNF also gives tours to the many visitors who come to the site, providing them with information about its history, agriculture, geography, botany, etc.
Come join us in the Sataf, to connect to the roots that have linked us to this part of the country since Biblical times, and be part of the team that cultivates this unique corner of beauty that has such a riveting past. KKL-JNF thanks everyone willing to volunteer for the sake of the green vistas of the Jerusalem mountains. The volunteers will receive training, membership in the Friends of KKL-JNF group, and various discounts and benefits at the events it holds.
How can you join the Sataf volunteers?
