In its forests, KKL-JNF builds recreation sites for public benefit, including picnic and recreation areas, scenic lookouts, rest corners and playgrounds, with many of them made accessible to people with disabilities.
The elements of each project - location, picnic tables, playground equipment, donor's dedication plaque, and more - are jointly decided upon by KKL-JNF professionals and the donors. When selecting each site component, factors such as topographical conditions, architectural requirements and the contribution sum are taken into consideration.
All project and donations are implemented with appropriate legal agreements signed by the donor/s and KKL-JNF.
