KKL-JNF Chairwoman, Ifat Ovadia-Luski, stated: "This is an emergency on a national scale. Our forests are burning, and the country is on fire on our Independence Day of all days, but we are there – with all of our teams, with all our strength. I ask each and every one of you – listen to the guidelines, do not come to the forest areas, let us fight the fire safely and efficiently. We will return and grow the greenery of Israel – together".
