Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael – Jewish National Fund contributed $100,000 in support of the Celebrate Israel Parade in New York City and marched together with JNF-USA to showcase the strategic partnership between the two organizations, working hand in hand to rehabilitate communities in the Gaza Envelope and support education and community development in the region.

On Wednesday, May 14, a symbolic cornerstone-laying ceremony was held for the establishment of the Jewish Rescuers Grove – a unique commemorative initiative dedicated to the memory of Jews who risked their lives to save their fellow Jewish brothers and sisters during the Holocaust.

The Innovation and Sustainability Center is a joint initiative of JNF Australia, KKL - JNF and the Sha’ar HaNegev Regional Council.

KKL-JNF announces that it is absolutely prohibited to light bonfires in the forests, camping parks and open areas, from Friday (May 9) at 08:00 and until Sunday (May 18) at midnight. The prohibition applies throughout Israel. The order also applies to Lag Ba'Omer events that begin on Thursday – May 15 and continue until Friday – May 16.
