The Conclusion of the Kinneret Innovation Center Startup Program

The Innovation Center was established in 2019, a collaborative effort of KKL-JNF, the Kinneret Academic College and Zemach Regional Industries, and it serves as growth engine for northern Israel in the fields of environment, water, aggrotech and climate.
For the third year, KKL-JNF, through its chief scientist unit, initiates an accelerator program for students, graduates and entrepreneurs in the fields of environment, water and agriculture.

This week, a celebration marked the conclusion of the GO GLOBAL accelerator program for startups. Eight project made it to the final. Elad Shamir, CEO of the Kinneret Innovation Center: "GO GLOBAL is one of the leading programs in Israel for technological projects in the field of climate, a program that serves as ground for the growth of world-changing technologies, technologies that grow right here."
KKL-JNF CEO Yuval Yeyni: "KKL-JNF is proud to stand at the forefront of the fields of climate and agriculture, while simultaneously creating quality employment opportunity for the residents of northern Israel. I wish success to the entrepreneurs who participated in the program. KKL-JNF will keep taking part in the development programs of the periphery, working with teens, students, research and development and innovative technological projects.

Soon, a new KKL-JNF innovation park will open in the Jordan Valley. The Kinneret innovation center, which will be relocated to the new park, will continue to promote aggrotech, renewable energy, water and climate technologies – fields that are of great potential in northern Israel.

The center will support an envelope for the establishment and drawing of breakthrough projects in collaboration with major local initiatives in the fields of agriculture, agricultural industries, high-tech companies, academy, research institutes, investors and more, all this to provide employment opportunities in the area and encourage the growth of agro, water and climate technologies."

KKL-JNF Chief Scientist Doron Markel: "Today, we conclude the fifth accelerator program, in collaboration with the Kinneret Innovation Center. GO GLOBAL is a unique program which promotes technologies from the worlds of climate, a subject that KKL-JNF is highly involved in over the past few years. The chief scientist unit is proud to take part in a variety of programs at the Kinneret Innovation Center, including the student accelerator, the graduate program and the GO GLOBAL program, which concluded this week."
