Cooking Contest at the Thai Pagoda

On June 17, members of the KKL-JNF staff have hosted the Thai Ambassador and her crew at the Thai Pagoda in the Ben Shemen Forest.

The event included a cooking contest with 27 contestants judged by a panel of six experts.

The contestants had a chance to learn of KKL-JNF's fire team in the forest, and enjoyed Thai music and food, and a demonstration of Thai boxing. The three top contestants won valuable prizes.

The Pagoda is a gift given to Israel from Thailand to mark the 50th anniversary of Israel's independence and the 50th anniversary of the coronation of the King of Thailand Bhumibol Adulyadej.
