Arad Park, located about five km west of the built-up area of the city of Arad, covers about 500 dunams. The park is a green lung of forest trees, mainly salt cedars and various kinds of eucalyptus trees. The park is adjacent to Route 31 – the main transportation route to Arad. KKL-JNF placed picnic tables in the shade of the trees. The recreation area also has drinking water.
