Hadera Forest

The Hadera Forest is one of the oldest KKL-JNF forests. Among the eucalyptus trees, there are still remains of the swamps that once terrorized the pioneers of Hadera. There are two recreation areas in the forest: the northern one near the train station, maintained by the Hadera municipality; and the southern one, in the southern part of the forest, which borders HaSharon Park and is a lovely starting point for a walk in the park.

Directions: The entrance to the Hadera Forest is near the Hadera train station. To reach the southern recreation area, drive south from the northern recreation area for about two km on the dirt road that runs along the forest from the east.
