Nir Moshe Forest

The Nir Moshe Forest is a fairly small woodland that extends across 923 dunams. It is part of the Shovalim Forest, a dispersed forest planted along the shallow loess channels of the area in order to prevent rainfall from eroding the soil and damaging cultivated farmland. The forest is named after the adjacent moshav. In the forest, KKL-JNF has prepared two recreation areas with picnic tables, some of them wheelchair-accessible, as well as water taps.

Directions: From the gate of Moshav Nir Moshe, drive north along a wide dirt road for about 250 m to the Halilei HaRuach (Wind Flutes) Statue. Here you turn left and immediately reach the upper recreation area.
