Water Outings in Israel
Despite its hot, dry climate, Israel is blessed with a surprising number of fresh-water springs and streams. Add the winter ponds and wetlands, plus the KKL-JNF-created reservoirs and desert oases to the mix, and you have plenty of water tours to choose from!

Naaman River drains the Lower Galilee. Its two main channels are the Evlayim and the Hilazon streams, which are seasonal. However, the springs of the Naaman River are what provide the main channel of the river with great quantities of water, about 5,000 m3 per hour.
