Radar Hill
Location: Mount Adar (Har Adar), Jerusalem Mountains.

Description: Radar Hill is the memorial site commemorating the Harel Brigade. The hill rises well above its surroundings and the observation tower at its summit, designed by architect Arye Sharon and his son Eldad, affords one of the most spectacular views in the Jerusalem Mountains. In the War of Independence, the Harel Brigade failed to capture the site and the hill was captured in the Six Day War (1967). Military vehicles and tanks that took part in the battles for Jerusalem stand in the plaza at the foot of the tower. The KKL-JNF1948 Trail starts at Radar Hill, descends from HaHamisha Forest and ends at Kiryat Anavim military cemetery.

Directions: Mevo HaShaked Street, Har Adar, next to the commercial center.
