Planting for Tomorrow: KKL-JNF's Family Tu Bishvat Events throughout Israel

KKL-JNF invites you to celebrate Tu Bishvat in its forests and parks with a wide variety of family activities and attractions

KKL-JNF chair Ifat Ovadia-Luski: "Tu Bishvat, which symbolizes the New Year for the trees, connects to the land, our roots, and the nature in Israel. This year, we celebrate Tu Bishvat in the shadow of the "Iron Swords" war, and planting trees symbolizes rebirth and growth. KKL-JNF invites you to come with your families and take part in a wide variety of planting events and other activities in the KKL-JNF forests. This year, participation is extremely important.

KKL-JNF's Truck of Happiness

KKL-JNF's Green Truck will travel from northern to southern Israel, bringing happiness to people in hospitals, retirement homes, military bases, hostels, schools, city centers, towns and more. Celebrate Tu Bishvat on a musical stage with the best holiday songs.

Nursery Celebration

Meet the lifecycle of the plant from the seed collection through its travel from the nursery to the forest, in a day of educational activities. A day full of fun and music, participated by members of evacuated families and educators.

Trees Plant Hope – For Adults

In celebration of the holiday – a special tour in a unique forest, where 350 different tree species grow.

We will hear the story of these unique trees, that did not lose hope when they were brought to Israel, and grew and developed in their new home and kept their spirits high as they grew old. We will learn of this story through songs and tales that will bring our spirits up as well.

In celebration of the holiday – a special tour for children and families in a unique forest, where 350 different tree species grow.

We will hear of the trees that show strength, even in difficult times, and of the hope that allows growth and gives a glimpse of a better future. We will enjoy creative workshops and games in the spirit of the holiday.
