KKL-JNF forests, which are a free family recreation alternative all year round, turned into event venues and attractions during the summer months, free of charge but full of fun.

The long summer vacation is a financial strain on families who have to spend considerable amounts of money on their children’s activities such as trips, entrance fees, camps and shows. This is why KKL-JNF organized free events this summer in its parks and forests.

The “Forest Adventure” program provided free events in KKL-JNF sites in all parts of the country so that all the parents could give their children fun, entertainment and activities during the summer, at reasonable costs, that combine enjoyment and values.

Events included a number of play areas, arts and crafts, active workshops, games, ambience characters, open stages and a popular children’s performing artist.

The main “Forest Adventure” event in northern Israel took place on Thursday, August 18, 2016, from 4 to 8 PM, in Goren Park, with Saba Tuvia performing on the main stage.

Another event in northern Israel took place on Thursday, August 25, from 4 to 8 PM, at the Biriya Fortress. Miki performed on the main stage, and there were also activities highlighting nature and environmental protection.
