In the midst of the war against Iran, while rockets and drones are fired at Israel – especially in the Galilee region – one of our caretakers at the Agamon Wildlife Rehabilitation Center (AWRC) refused to give up on the life of a salamander, an endangered amphibian, bringing it home for dedicated around-the-clock care.

Amid the ongoing war in Israel with Iran, Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael–Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF) has launched programs for residents whose homes were damaged by missile attacks. These initiatives provide activities at the hotels where evacuees are temporarily staying, as well as at other locations across northern, central, and southern Israel, offering families a brief respite amid the crisis.
Due to the security situation in Israel and in accordance with Home Front Command guidelines, the public is requested not to arrive at KKL-JNF forests, parks, and nature sites at this stage.

The WAY Europe 2026 conference opened this week in Paris, France, marking an important step toward the establishment of the first Zionist Council in Europe. Initiated by the Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael-Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF) and held in partnership with the World Zionist Organization, the four-day conference brings together representatives of Jewish organizations and educators from 17 countries across Europe.
