Avishai Berman, Chairman of the Joint Council of Mechinot: "Despite the great difference between religious, secular and mixed mechinot, we are here to find what brings us together, especially in these days of hard disagreements. As soon as we understand what we have in common, it will be easier for us to speak of our differences and reach agreements. The mechinot world brings together shared and opposing ideological stances, and despite that, works together toward the common goal – the continuous prosperity of the Zionist project. We all take part in the missions called 'The State of Israel' and it is up to all sides to stop the deterioration that we witness, so that we can continue to develop Israel for dozens of years of joint activity, together."

KKL-JNF Chairwoman Ifat Ovadiva-Luski: "The mechinot project carries an important Zionist and social weight. The mechinot shape Israel and implant their students with the values of Zionism, patriotism and devotion. KKL-JNG considers its longstanding support of the mechinot as a first-rate national and Zionist mission, and this support will continue. On Israel's 75th year of independence, I wish everyone that the mechinot will maintains their important activity for Israel, and we will continue to support it."
