Forest, produced by KKL-JNF, publishes professional articles on plant ecology, woodlands and forestry, and was Israel's first such journal. Its graphs, tables and abstracts are translated into English.

The Martyrs Forest study researches long-term effects of forestry care that encourages regeneration. It also researches the effect of thinning trees in mature forests, as well as other activity taking place in the regenerating forest layer.
