The Tal Recreation Area opened near Kibbutz Be'eri at the Negev in the memory of Major Tal Nachman, who was killed in action. The recreation area is located next to the Nachbir site (old Be'eri) at the Be'eri forest, along the Tal Trail, which goes for 10 kilometers within the magical landscapes of the area.
The recreation area contains picnic facilities and water spots for travelers, and a stone commemorating Tal's memory, with trails to olive trees planted by his family.
