Riding and volunteering in the Ben Shemen Region

KKL-JNF and the Israel Cycling Federation invite all bike riders to join the group of volunteer cyclists who patrol the paths of the Ben Shemen Forest region.

If you:

  • Are experienced bike riders
  • Have environmental awareness and a desire to protect the environment
  • Are willing to help by providing first aid
  • Are ready to contribute of your time towards this goal

Your place is with us, in the Volunteer Bike Patrol Unit!

We will ride in small groups or in your free time, with the aim of helping KKL-JNF maintain the bike paths, the forests and open areas, help visitors by providing information, guidance and first aid in case of need.

The volunteers will receive courses in first aid, technical riding, mechanics, and forest management during the year, will be equipped with riding shirts and volunteer cards, and will be official members of the Israel Cycling Federation and the KKL-JNF volunteer department.
